As you know, this blog is created by the author due to Journalistic class that she take this semester. In this opportunity we will discuss about what the journalistic is. First you hear the word Journalistic, what comes to your mind? it must be news, reporter, interviewee, and things related to journalism. It's quite true, but let's talk about this more deeply.
From the definition given by Collins English Dictionary, Journalistic means relating to journalism, or produced by or typical of a journalist.
Journalistic things have to do with writing or reporting about the news. Most journalistic stories are found in newspapers or magazines, or on news-related websites.
Then, what is Journalism?
Journalism is the activity of gathering, assessing, creating, and
presenting news and information. It is also the product of these
activities.
Who does journalism? journalist? formally, yes. But everyone can produce journalism. With this kind of era which technology is very sophisticated, everyone can do journalism anywhere anytime. But, we should know how to do journalism properly. Person who produce a news for example should not be arbitrary and provide valid data.
